
Alex Robertson IV, Esq.
Mediator
Alex currently maintains a national practice specializing in multi-party construction
defect, commercial construction claims, mold and real estate litigation. Alex has
been admitted pro hac vice in Florida, Illinois, New Mexico and the District of
Columbia, in addition to being a member of the bar in California, Nevada, Texas
and Colorado. He is one of the few practicing construction defect attorneys who
has firsthand experience in both field and management positions with a large heavy
engineering construction company, that included heavy industrial, concrete tilt-up
commercial and retail buildings, and underground utilities. Alex has experience
representing both plaintiffs and defendants in all aspects of construction disputes,
including single family homes; custom luxury homes; condo projects; PUD’s; high
rise hotels and casinos in Las Vegas and Biloxi, Miss.; high rise condominium projects
in Miami, FL.; public works projects, including schools, universities, courthouses,
jails and prisons, dams and flood control channels; commercial tilt-up construction;
underground utilities; and manufacturing facilities. Alex has 22 years of experience
handling cases involving construction defects, contractor terminations, delay/acceleration
damage claims, change orders, mechanic’s liens, landslides, earth subsidence/expansive
soils, environmental contamination, mold, personal injuries, wrongful death, construction
site accidents, catastrophic hurricane and earthquake damage claims, class actions,
failure to disclose in the sale of real property and related insurance matters.
Alex has also frequently serves as both a mediator and an arbitrator in construction
and real estate disputes.
